Himalayan Balsam pulling in Northcliffe woods - to give the native woodland plants a chance to thrive.

Meet at the model railway (5 minutes from entrance on Cliffe Wood Avenue) at 7pm. We will be working on the slope between the pond and the steps that lead up to the golf course (opposite the steps that lead to the club house).

Gloves will be provided. Please wear suitable footwear for the terrain, and remember the midges may find us so keep covered or bring repellant.

Come along to our new bird feeding area to see the birds and be part of the world's largest wildlife survey!

Experts will be on hand to help identify the birds and provide advice about how to attract birds to your garden.

Refreshments, RSPB sales goods and bird food will be available. The bird feeding area is situated adjacent to Northcliffe Woods, between the lower and upper allotments. Just follow the birdies and RSPB signs! In association with the Airedale & Bradford local group of RSPB

Join Friends of Northcliffe volunteers to continue to implement elements of the woodland management plan.

Our focus will be thinning beech saplings where they are preventing regeneration of oak, rowan and birch and disadvantaging bluebells.

Meet at the bench near the golf club entrance off Moorhead Lane. No experiance necessary, tools and gloves provided.
